Overview
An institution rooted in its community
Founded in 1954, Heritage Government Higher Secondary School has grown alongside generations of students in Nadia. The school is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to learn, explore, participate and contribute to society.
The school serves students of Classes V to XII, with Higher Secondary teaching in the Science, Arts and Commerce streams. Teaching is conducted with support in both Bengali and English, and the campus is maintained as a safe, accessible and welcoming space for every learner.
Guardians, alumni and the local community remain closely involved in the life of the school through the managing committee, annual observances and community programmes.
